What do you do at Calvary?: I am the directing pastor, which usually means that I preach, lead worship, offer care to people, help cast the vision and mission of the church, encouage the church and community, engage in relationships in the community around Calvary, attend meetings, and likely a number of other things. In other words, I have the best job in the universe.

What do you do at Calvary?: I oversee Calvary programs for birth through 12th graders (KidVenture, Student Ministries, Kid Connection Preschool and Mom2Mom), working closely with the directors of each program. I also directly design KidVenture programs, creating opportunities for kids to experience God working in their lives! I love having the opportunity to partner with kids and families as we all grow to know Jesus more!

What do you do at Calvary?: I help keep track of our guests and members using our database. I manage the prayer chain and follow up with families needing prayer and assist them with various other needs as well. I help connect people with community agencies as needed. I also help people get involved in service opportunities, membership and baptism. I am what you might call the "Calvary Social Worker." People come to me with their questions and I help them get connected to the area they need.

Staff Position: Director of Building and Grounds
What do you do at Calvary?: Oversee maintenance and operation of the Building and Grounds and direct the custodial staff with cleaning of the building. Monitoring and repairs all the systems to keep building in operation, the grounds upkeep including the the mowing and parking lot. This also includes doing some repairs.

What do you do at Calvary?: I oversee our nursery, preschool, and Kindergarten kids on Sunday mornings! I set up our classroom activities and teach at the 9 a.m. service. I also train new volunteers and assist with any other early childhood needs of the church.

What do you do at Calvary?: I assure that Kid Connections Preschool is a place that three to five-year-old students learn and grow in a loving and kind Christian environment. I manage the curriculum, the preschool staff, student registration, preschool licensing, and accreditations. Mainly, though, I try to be an example of Christ’s love to our students, as well as their parents.
