This Is Love: Give It Away
Matthew 25:34-40
34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

What does He mean blessed? What’s in it for me?
Take your inheritance _________________________.
What are you invested in? Stocks? Money Market? Dow? Nasdaq? Bonds?
How about __________________________?
Hungry
Thirsty
Stranger
Needed clothes
Sick
In prison
God invests in people - all people.
CLOSING PRAYER
Sweet Lord, thank You and praise You that You loved me enough to come, take my sins away, offer me a new life, and lift up the promise of a blessed life both now and in the future. I know that this trust I give You, this heart I give You, and this heart to honor You will be hard some days, but I know You will see me through because You are faithful. Give me eyes to see the hungry and the thirsty and the stranger. Help me find a humble way to connect with those who need clothes, who are sick, or in prison. Especially help me to reach out to those who are searching for You, for Your grace, and for Your peace. In Jesus name, Amen.
